PERIOD STEP AND TRADITIONAL DANCING

An 1815-style light-shoe jig, performed in period costume.
The 'Sweets of May' is a traditional ceili dance in 1916-style costumes.  It was performed at the Irish Fair of MN in 2016 in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Easter Rising.
A traditional sean-nos broom dance.  'Sean-nos' means 'old style' and this dancing tradition comes from Connemara in the west of Ireland.
'Lannigan's Ball', a period ceili dance performed in 1907-era costumes.

MODERN STEP aND CEILI DANCING

 'Space Cheilidh', Green Fire's signature send-off features every dancer with solos, duets, and more.  General choreography by Elaine Murray; some steps written by individual dancers.
'Beggarman' is a modern choreography incorporating both hard and soft shoe steps.  Choreography by Mattie Ernst.
